Stefani Germanotta (aka Lady Gaga) is a prime target for rumours. She has an alluring look and yet there is something off-putting about her screen presence. People have gone as far to say that she looks like a man. Others point out small bumps in her nether regions claiming it’s proof she is a hermaphrodite.

Her support of the gay community and love for bizarre fashions has gained her some fans that don’t quite fit in. And as the saying goes, the most flattering act is impersonation.

Early this year, a member of Lady Gaga’s forum posted “Their is Nothing Better than be able to show the world just a small taste of your art and music. I love performing as Lady Gaga everywhere.” The post includes a myspace link, where there are also photos and videos. The surprising part? The look-alike is a dude.

To appease your curiosity, here is the Arizona native doing a rendition of Lady Gaga’s hit “Just Dance”.

Lagerfeld favorite Lily Allen is the star in a Chanel ad campaign pushing plush double C’ed bags. Is it just me, or does she look like a cross between Audrey Hepburn circa Breakfast at Tiffany’s and another Karl BFF: Amanda Harlech? Despite this, you have to love the tiara.

This news comes as no surprise as she has long been addicted to pricey bags. When The New York Times recently interviewed Lily, she showed off her wardrobe, which had an entire section devoted to Chanel.

“It's awesome, isn't it?” she cooed. I can’t help but agree, once I shrug off the jealously. Her Chanel shrine is flanked by some gorgeous bags by designers like Louis Vuitton, Louboutin, among others sure to make us mere mortals drool!

The habit doesn’t come cheap. While most were feeling the pinch of the financial crisis, the British songstress dropped a whopping £100,000 (roughly $163,700 USD) on designer clothes, handbags and other accessories last year.

Plenty have put down Lily for her indulgent traits, but let's be fair. Sure, that money could feed a small village in the third world for months, but that sort of cash injection is what the economy really needs! Maybe big spending is her way of supporting the fashion industry. This ensures that hot new designs keep flowing for the rest of us.

The “Smile” singer has taken criticism in stride, stating “It's a lot of money. People say how terrible I look all the time, but imagine if I didn't spend £100,000 on clothes.” Don’t worry Lily, the marketing department at Chanel thinks you look ravishing.

Will Lindsay ever clean up her act? It’s time to step out of the limelight and take a breather.

Word is that Lindsay Lohan doesn’t like to show up for her alcohol rehab sessions. As a result her three-year probation was extended by another year. The judge threatened her with jail time unless she meets the requirements this time around. Even with the court order in place, we can be pretty sure that she will continue to screw up.

Dressed in a white jacket and black trousers, Lindsay looked like a wreck in the courtroom. For that reason, we will refrain from focusing on those drab scenes and turn to her appearance in Paris.

Lohan payed a visit during Paris Fashion Week to promote her new range. The whole thing was a bust as the fashions were heavily criticised by the media. She also took some time to assist with the 2010 Ungaro collection while in the fashion capitol.

The only thing this “too cool for school” look has going for it is the Jimmy Choo Cara Bag. The nebula of metallic colours just tickle the eye. I would like that purple wrap if it didn’t basically have a cape attached to it. Clearly, the only real super power Linday has is the ability to suck back hard liquor.

Any bag addict knows about the amazing virtues of ostrich leather. No other material looks similar to it because of the bumps in the hide where feathers used to reside. Victoria Beckham fancies this exotic material too as she has been toting around a purple ostrich Birkin. Some may find it too flashy, even gaudy. Myself, I'm a fan but find the price of such a bag out of reach.

A Hermes Birkin starts at approximately $5000 USD, excluding sales tax. It can reach five and sometimes six digit prices, especially when the bag is constructed from exotic animal skins; so we can be certain Victoria’s bag is on the high-end of the scale, even for this already luxurious handbag.

Sure, this particular bag is a current favourite. She has a pile more. A new report indicates that the former Spice Girls' collection of handbags is worth a whopping £1.5 million.

Now feast your eyes on that fabulous photo that was taken during Paris Fashion Week last year. These three beautiful women are of course (from left to right) Dita von Tesse, Claudia Schiffer and Victoria Beckham. Let’s analyse their style.

Dita von Tesse

The burlesque artist, model and actress looks a world different than the others. The navy blue moon dress really complements her fair skin. She’s carrying a book-shaped clutch and accessorizing with a over-sized cocktail ring, a brooch and louboutins.

Claudia Schiffer

Now this is fun and quirky look for the German model and actress. That smile and voluminous blonde hair is well matched with the leopard print YSL belt and clutch. The gold bracelet and shoes hold it all together. Note how her skirt is very similar to Victoria’s, only not a dress and in a different colour.

Victoria Beckham

As usual, posh spice (a nickname first coined by Top of the Pops magazine) is looking seriously glamourous. Her fur (likely faux) looks great with the Roland Mouret that is perfectly tailored to her body shape. The famed purple Birkin complements the violet Louboutins.

For the most part, it’s human nature to gravitate towards the things we like. However, there are times when the most hated handbags get talked about the most. Considering the popularity of worst dressed lists in celebrity magazines, people can’t seem to refrain from getting satisfaction from pointing out the fashion failures of others. So let’s change things up and start bashing some bags.

Firstly, this particular design might not seem buzz worthy or even worth discussing. It’s not a hideous bag that is easy to attack. This shoulder bag would be happy to be in the spotlight for even a moment. There are no aspects of particular beauty to note, no major shortcomings and certainly no star quality. The mediocrity it emanates is the part that is bothering me here.

It’s too Chloe-esque to be a D&B bag. Maybe I wouldn’t have been so disappointed if the shape, hardware and stitching didn’t come off as a blatant rip off of the well known Chloe Saskia and Bay bags. Have another gander at it and tell me if I’m wrong. It does have some shared characteristics with Dolce & Gabbana’s Miss Silky, but not enough to make it part of the family. At the very root of the problem, this bag seems to be lacking a sense of identity.
